Procedure for Submission of Applications for Good Standing Certificate of The
Medical Council of India

The application for Good Standing Certificate of the Medical Council of India is required to be submitted through the State Medical Council, i.e. through Maharashtra Medical Council, in respect of the R.M.P.s registered with this Council.

Format of the application is available on the website of the Medical Council of India (www.mciindia.org). Application in the prescribed form duly filled in, is required to be submitted to the state council, i.e. Maharashtra Medical Council in duplicate. The copies of all necessary documents and certificates, as mentioned in the said application, must be attached to the application, together with Demand Draft of Rs.1000/- (Rs. One Thousand Only) drawn in favour of Secretary, Medical Council of India, towards fee for the Good Standing Certificate. 

Apart from the above, a fee of Rs.100/- (Rs. One Hundred only) is required to be paid to the Maharashtra Medical Council, by Demand Draft, drawn in favour of Registrar, Maharashtra Medical Council, payable in Mumbai, or by cash, for verification, recommendation and for forwarding the application to Medical Council of India.
